- First-run **Setup Wizard** covering company identity, address, branding,
  regional preferences, financial year, and admin account.
- **Authentication**: session-based login, logout, remember me, forgot &
  reset password with generic responses, rate limiting, forced password
  change flow.
- **Login history** with device / IP / browser parsing and last-login
  tracking on the user record.
- **RBAC** via Spatie Permission with a subclassed Role model, five default
  roles, and a dynamic permission registry.
- **Audit trail** via Spatie ActivityLog on User, Company, Role, Setting.
- **Dashboard foundation** with 10 zero-value widgets and a 7-day
  ApexCharts sales-trend chart.
- **Design system**: SCSS tokens, mixins, and a full component library
  (`x-ui.*`, `x-form.*`, `x-layout.*`).
- **Theme engine**: runtime CSS custom properties, light/dark, comfortable
  /compact density, per-user + per-company persistence.
- **Global layout**: sidebar, topbar, breadcrumb, flash, mobile bottom
  nav, command palette, footer.
- **Settings**: company, preferences, theme, printer, security, roles.
- **Profile**: edit, password change, login history.
- **Notifications** and **search** shells with stable JSON contracts.
- **Feature tests** for auth, wizard, dashboard, permissions, settings,
  profile.
- **Documentation**: README, architecture reference, ADR-0001, style guide,
  Sprint 1 UAT checklist, completion report.

### Notes
- Products, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Credit, Reports, Barcode, Excel
  Import, Backup, and Audit UI are OUT OF SCOPE for this release and are
  gated behind `config/decent.feature_flags.*`.
